Inspired by the magnificent 1906 Moscow Kremlin Egg, this architectural design reflects one of the most elaborate jeweled Easter creations of the early twentieth century. The historic masterpiece was commissioned by Tsar Nicholas II for Empress Alexandra Fyodorovna to commemorate their ceremonial return to Moscow, the ancient capital and spiritual heart of the empire.

The original egg was modeled after the Dormition (Uspensky) Cathedral within the Kremlin, where rulers were traditionally crowned. Its design featured a white enamel dome crowned with golden cupolas and detailed façades with openwork windows revealing a miniature cathedral interior complete with altar and iconography. The base incorporated elements inspired by Kremlin towers, uniting architecture and symbolism in a single monumental composition.

Inside, the historic egg concealed a finely engineered music box that played a sacred hymn, blending mechanical innovation with spiritual tribute. It was ultimately presented at Easter 1906 after delays caused by wartime events and national unrest, and it remains one of the few imperial eggs still preserved in its homeland today.

Echoing that grand tradition, this intricately detailed interpretation captures the silhouette of cathedral domes and ornate towers, complete with hand-painted enamel, gold-tone detailing, and sparkling crystal accents.
