As the name implies, it is of three colors of gold with translucent sapphire blue enamel in a simplified Renaissance style. It is surmounted with an Imperial crown of gold set with sapphires and diamonds.

This egg is really pretty! It’s smaller compared to some eggs but definitely not the smallest! The enameling and mela work is very good! My one thing for reducing a star is the colors are a bit off. The blue is a bit darker than what is shown in the photos. And while in the photos it looks like the trim is like a cream colored metallic job, it’s actually just the shiny gold that most eggs have. I was a little disappointed it was the gold and not the cream color shown in the photos. Overall it’s a gorgeous egg and I totally recommend it!
I ordered this egg with some doubts. It is truly lovely and the shade of blue is more than what I expected. It is very delicate and the blue is so pretty. It is MORE than Delightful. Be certain if you order this egg that you will be Very happy with this size and shape of this egg. Enjoy the elegance of tis style. s
